     Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport
The 662-room Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport is without doubt the best airport hotel in which I have stayed. It is expensive but sadly the best things always cost more.It is far more organized and client friendly than the airport which it serves. It seemed only minutes between leaving my flight and settling into a luxurious room with all the amenities one could need for an overnight stay. Fortunately my in-bound flight from China was not far from the area where the airpoprt shuttle awaited. I had no checked luggage and once I was in the shuttle the driver took me to the impressive lobby area.
It is only a few minutes walk from the terminal but after the flight and the latenss of the hour, it was Since I had an early morning departure, I got to see little of the property. But what I did see was impressive. The vast lobby – claimed to be the largest hotel lobby in the world - is quiet despite a lot of activity. I did use the business center and everything you could need is there including computers, printers and translators.
The room had a great view, luxury bath and shower fittings and more television channels than I cared to watch. I splurged in the morning on a room service breakfast. It did cost 500 Baht but it was superb with everything I ordered cooked to perfection. The poached eggs were soft and the orange juice tasted like it had just left the juicer.
The service personnel I encountered, the meeter and greeter at the airport, the maid I passed in the hallway, the young ladies at the front desk, and the shuttle driver, were all friendly and efficient.
Do not expect any deals here. The hotel has no competition, unless you want to wander into the wilds in a taxi. In my travels, I try to avoid this airport – but if I have to overnight here again I will enjoy this oasis away from the muddle and mayhem of the airport.
Now to some thing I did not see in the hotel. The hotel has four stars. I would give it more. There are five boardrooms, a pillar-less grand ballroom for up to 1,000 people, plus six meeting and function rooms.
The Novotel’s 612 rooms are in two square-shaped five-storey buildings, covering 10.5 hectares, with large open atrium areas in the centre of each structure. The two buildings are also joined by another massive glass atrium designed as the hotel lobby. The outdoor atrium areas are for swimming and recreation.

This is surely one of the finest places to stay in Bangkok. Impeccable service, oversized luxurious rooms, an awesome lobby, Thai architecture and artwork at its finest are just some of its plus points. The 353-room Four Seasons Hotel is located in Bangkok’s corporate, diplomatic and shopping hub and lacks nothing for the discerning traveler. There is a newstand and complimentary overnight shoe shine. The hotel arranges golf at local courses. On the seventh floor the Executive Club offers 24-hour service aimed at making life easier for the business traveler.

Whenever you leave the room, someone appears to tidy up and insure that there are new bottle of waters and towels are replenished. Every day fresh flowers and fruit appear and it all happens silently and swiftly. There is an impressive breakfast buffet, normally included with the room rate, which a veritable feast of Thai and international dishes.
The Four Seasons is challenging several of Bangkok’s older and more established hotels as THE place to stay. This is a hotel where they remember your name – especially if you are a returning guest. And many are. Expensive – but worth it.

                                                                      Conrad Hotel
Great place for the athletic executive this hotel - with two entrances - is in the middle of the city’s business district and boasts a rooftop-jogging track and two floodlit tennis courts. There are lots of bars and restaurants, some dedicated to healthy dining. It is a great location near the embassies and Skytrain station. Businessmen will find good deals for long stays. The prices would be attractive for the leisure traveler too but few stay the necessary seven nights to get the best deals. With panoramic views of Lumpini Park, Bangkok's green oasis, the hotel can be accessed from both Wireless Road and Soi Ruam Rudee, providing easy access to the Silom, Sathorn and Sukhumvit corridors and the inbound and outbound expressways.

                                                       TheTwin Towers Hotel Hangkok

Friendly staff and quality spacious rooms at attractive prices are the plus factors of this hotel. Many who stay here think it worth using taxis to get around since similar accommodation in more desirable locations elsewhere the city would be considerably more expensive.

The lobby really strikes you when you check in – as do the eight guest elevators. The location for some of Bangkok’s attractions is not the greatest. But the prices more than compensate for that. The entrance lobby is enormous – as are the amenities that this four star property has to offer. The location in the commercial district of Rama 6 Road means you are a 20 minute walk to the Siam Square shopping center or a 25 minute taxi ride from the Grand Palace. Fortunately taxis are cheap and plentiful All 660 guestrooms and suites are attractively decorated and have comfortable, quality furniture and fittings in addition to large bathrooms. All deluxe rooms have a separate dressing area, while the 30 suites enjoy private terraces and had a in-room safe. There are five restaurants in the hotel offering a full range of Asian cuisine as well as Western meals. Light meals and healthy foods are served at poolside.

                                          The Tai-Pan Hotel

There are three great things about this 146-room budget property. Great value, great location in a quieter road close to the major thoroughfares of Sukhumvit and Asoke Roads and great service from a happy, friendly and professional staff. Not so great is the condition of some of the rooms in need of a little TLC, or better still a new carpet. The property is within easy walking distance to the shopping and entertainment areas and a five minute walk to either a Skytrain station or the underground system.

The good value here attracts many younger tourists who find the facilities ideal. This is not the greatest place for a businessman who needs a sophisticated business center. And the hotel is not geared up for families whose children who need to be entertained. The rooms and seven suites are well equipped with satellite television, wireless Internet access, IDD telephone, minibar, in-room safe deposit boxes tea and coffee making facilities and a full size bathroom with bathrobes and a hair dryer. The Sparest is the hotel’s spa which offers great value compared some other Bangkok hotels. Also good value is the Pan Kitchen serving a wide range of local and International dishes. The lunch buffet here costs about $5. The hotel has a swimming pool a fitness center and in the lobby is The Internet Corner for those wishing to surf the web and left their laptop at home.
